On one hand, the gangland themes of corrupt cops and drug deals gone awry keeps in tone with expectations of American audiences, while the muted, subdued and often-unpredictable design of the movie lends to its foreign nature.
Writer/producer Austin Chima’s debut film depicts life as told from the point of view of two very different yet tight-knit men. Nollywood veteran Ramsey Nouah (Uzor) convincingly portrays a man who, rather than letting himself be broken by betrayal, is instead motivated by it to rise up to a position of power.
